About Us 🚀

We’re looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and help develop and maintain authentication infrastructure based on Kerberos and Linux/UNIX security technologies. You’ll work on improving the reliability, scalability, and automation of critical security systems used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities 💻

• Maintain and continuously improve our Kerberos authentication systems and related in-house tooling

• Maintain and enhance internal implementations of open-source technologies such as OpenSSH

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Kerberos authentication and other Linux/UNIX-based security solutions maintained by the team

• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, stability, and observability

• Develop software solutions to automate administrative and operational tasks

• Improve and maintain deployment automation pipelines to ensure faster, reliable, and repeatable releases

• Collaborate with colleagues, product owners, and leadership to define and implement authentication strategies

What will you need 💪

• Strong proficiency in the C programming language

• Deep understanding of systems and network programming in a UNIX/Linux environment

• Solid knowledge of security concepts, including cryptography, authentication, and authorization

• Experience with systems engineering in a controlled enterprise environment

• Practical experience with Perl and Python

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and business stakeholders

• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a globally distributed team

Nice to haves 🤸

• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira

• Experience contributing to UNIX/Linux-based open-source projects
