We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will design and develop robust, efficient, server-side applications that power mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities 💻

• Design, develop, and test cloud-native Java applications

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions

• Collaborate effectively within a global, virtual team, including colleagues based in New York and offshore locations

• Work closely with senior Business Partners and Program Management to deliver reliable and scalable solutions

• Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

• Partner with application support teams to quickly resolve issues and continuously improve support processes

What will you need 💪

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience with strong core Java knowledge

• Experience with Java unit testing frameworks such as JUnit 5 or TestNG

• Solid understanding of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases

• Practical experience with JPA implementations, such as Hibernate

• End-to-end experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture principles

• Proven experience developing and testing microservices using Spring Boot

• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Scripting experience in Bash, Ksh, or Python for automation and tooling

• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Buildah

• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts
