We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a new project for one of our investment banking partners. Our team is responsible for creating and maintaining a stable data platform that thousands of users use every day.

• Design and development of ETL and Hadoop/ Snowflake applications;
• Undertaking end-to-end project delivery, including review and finalization of business requirements, creation of functional specifications and/or system designs;
• Responsibilities around deployment support;
• Development of new transformation processes to load data from source to target;
• Coding and documenting data processing scripts and stored procedures;
• Providing business insights and analysis findings for ad-hoc data requests;

What will you need 💪

• 3+ years of experience with the technical analysis and design, development, and implementation of Data warehousing / Data Lake solutions;
• Strong UNIX Shell scripting experience to support data warehousing solutions;
• Strong SQL programming and stored procedure development skills;
• Experience in developing in Informatica or any other ETL tool;
• Experience in optimizing large data loads;
• Relational database experience;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
